Although 95% of people have never heard of these brands, they are recognized as being much higher quality than Rolex among those who know watches. These 3 have been in business for hundreds of years and can trace their history back to the beginnings of watch making.
Since these companies still do a lot of their work by hand, unlike Rolexes which are almost all machine made, they can cost significantly more. Watches with complications (special features) can run over $ 100,000. There are some models which may be close in price to an average Rolex though (5-8k) but those are only the most basic. Typical watch will be about 4x what Rolex would charge.
Their faces are similar in size to Rolex – about 38-42mm.
